To support our growth and talent pipeline an opportunity is available for a Graduate – Business Systems to join our Brisbane corporate office:

Reporting to the Business Systems Team Leader, this role is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad system experience in a diverse range of functions across our entire business. This role will primarily be responsible for carrying out operational system support work, business improvement and IT projects predominantly for our primary business system (SAP). Additionally this role will be exposed to other IT verticals within the business to form a well-rounded working knowledge of the IT domain in Pacific Aluminium. Working closely with functional and technical team members, you will support the pursuit of opportunities to eliminate waste and add significant value to our operations with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

 We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have completed, or are close to completion of a Bachelor degree in a relevant Business discipline (IT, HR, Accounting etc.).
  • Have a keen interest in pursuing a career in IT and Business Systems
  • Are safety conscious
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset (exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies highly regarded)
  • Are flexible and adaptable, with the confidence to use initiative where required
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
  • Possess excellent attention to detail with a creative and innovative mindset
  • Possess demonstrated workload prioritisation skills
  • Are logical in decision making with excellent problem solving skills
  • Are familiar with statistical analysis methods
  • Are driven and motivated to learn and succeed

 Experience in the following (highly regarded):

  • ITIL framework and business applications
  • Change and Release practices for application delivery and support
  • ERP solutions, particularly SAP
  • Application Development Lifecycle
