About the opportunity
The role of a Process Technician is vital to the success of our business. Working in a strong team environment you will be responsible for supporting our operational departments to ensure the safe and sustainable production of aluminium through the operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment in conjunction with manual duties.
Whilst heavy industry experience is preferred it is not essential as on the job training will be provided to suitable candidates. Process Technicians will predominately work a lifestyle roster consisting of two 12 hour day shifts followed by two 12 hour night shifts and 4 days off. Applications requesting part time and/or job share arrangements will be considered where opportunities are available.
With current and future vacancies available this is a great opportunity to join a business that adds value to Australia’s natural resources.
We highly regard team members who initiate and foster continuous improvement in the way we work combined with the ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices. Your strong communication skills, team orientation and ability to undertake physical work in a hot environment are imperative.
BSL offers a supportive culture along with a competitive salary and additional employee benefits including a free Yaralla Lifestyle Package and subsidised private medical insurance.
Please note aptitude testing and a pre-employment medical is part of our recruitment process and shortlisted candidates are required to attend one of our Process Technician Assessment Centres starting in mid-December 2018.
If you are a motivated candidate who can demonstrate the requirements outlined above we encourage you to apply.
Applications close Sunday 11th NOVEMBER 2018. BSL reserve the right to commence the recruitment process prior to close of applications.
