Learning and Development Officer - Reduction Line 1&2 Operations
 
The Human Resources Team at BSL is seeking a suitable experienced and highly motivated Learning and Development Officer to join their team on a full time basis. The role will be based in the Reduction Line 1/2 department reporting centrally to the Specialist – Learning and Development.

 Accountabilities
 

  • Deliver hands-on operational training and coaching
  • Develop crew mentor capabilities on the teams and provide assistance as needed
  • Deliver training using training material, CBP’s and Standardised work
  • Assess skills and competencies in the workplace
  • Work closely with leaders on training requirements and provide feedback on progress/gaps
  • Provide practical training for new starters to obtain legislative licences where required
  • Assist in delivering site required training
  • Monitor progress and ensure ongoing improvement in training completion
  • Develop and update training material and CBP’s as required
  • Develop crew mentor capabilities on the teams and provide assistance as needed
  • Assist with site programs and training including site inductions

Qualifications

Whilst not mandatory the following qualifications and experience would be preferred: 

  • Cert IV Training Qualifications
  • CB crane and forklift tickets
  • Reduction Line operational experience
