Learning and Development Officer - Reduction Line 1&2 Operations
The Human Resources Team at BSL is seeking a suitable experienced and highly motivated Learning and Development Officer to join their team on a full time basis. The role will be based in the Reduction Line 1/2 department reporting centrally to the Specialist – Learning and Development.
Accountabilities
- Deliver hands-on operational training and coaching
- Develop crew mentor capabilities on the teams and provide assistance as needed
- Deliver training using training material, CBP’s and Standardised work
- Assess skills and competencies in the workplace
- Work closely with leaders on training requirements and provide feedback on progress/gaps
- Provide practical training for new starters to obtain legislative licences where required
- Assist in delivering site required training
- Monitor progress and ensure ongoing improvement in training completion
- Develop and update training material and CBP’s as required
- Develop crew mentor capabilities on the teams and provide assistance as needed
- Assist with site programs and training including site inductions

Qualifications
Whilst not mandatory the following qualifications and experience would be preferred:
- Cert IV Training Qualifications
- CB crane and forklift tickets
- Reduction Line operational experience
