Process Controllers

Due to a number of internal moves and the Line 4 restart, we have opportunities for highly motivated individuals with technical attributes to become Process Controllers across the Reduction Lines.

The primary focus of a Process Controller is to measure and maintain the key process control parameters, within guidelines specified by the Line Superintendent, Process Control Engineer and Crew Leader.

The person in this role is also expected to carry out the following:

  • Routine and assigned operational tasks specific to the operation of a group of cells (P69 or CD200).
  • Support the improvement process to sustain and improve performance over time.
  • Analyse data to identify changes in the process, including trends.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and effective manner.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have comprehensive Reduction experience, including a high level of knowledge and understanding of Reduction processes and operations.
  • Have uncompromising commitment toward safety standards including PPE and safe work practices.
  • Maintain relationships across all teams.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Set and maintain high work standards.
  • Have an analytical mind and the capability to work with computer systems including cell control automation systems.
